We believe that no form of 2D love is “right” or “wrong”.
(So long as no one is being harmed.)
However, we also recognize that the 2D love community IS NOT a monolith.
Different people have different connections to/understandings of 2D beings.
Our platform was created to give a home to those who recognize 2D entities (2DEs), as
truly real, living beings with sentience.
Here, we DO NOT recognize 2D entities to be “fictional characters” to any capacity.

Expressing Love

Firstly, for those reading this on 2Dist.org, I would like to thank everyone who has read my writings for reading them. I know that a topic such as “2Dism'' or “waifuism” as some may call it (I do not mind which term you use, and after all I cannot stop you) is a strange one to write about. Every form of 2D-love is viewed by those who do not understand it or think of it it as “crazy”, and I get why. I do amuse myself by making myself the butt of my own jokes, but it’s not done in a place of low self-esteem (I rarely have such a thing nowadays), but rather a sort of self-awareness and the ability to perceive myself through what seems to be a “normal person”’s lens.
